Summary
“What is going on with you today, Scott?” Virgil rested a gentle, warm hand on Scott’s back.
The three brothers had momentarily retired upstairs in John’s room, escaping for a couple of minutes from the loud party going on in the main hall. It was Alan’s eighteenth birthday, and despite having invited just a couple of friends, teenagers always managed to be way too noisy and chaotic. It was way too much for the three eldest Tracy brothers, yet apparently there was a deeper issue troubling Scott.
“I just…” the eldest tried to make eye contact with his younger brother, yet he only managed to stare pathetically at the wall. “Time flies so fast and I just can’t keep up.”[It's Alan's 18th birthday, the baby of the family is now an adult. The party is way too loud and the three eldest Tracy brothers head back upstairs to have a much deserved conversation.]

Summary
Scott whipped around at Virgil’s hand on his shoulder for the second time that day.
“What?” he snapped.
“You wanna tell me what happened back there, Scotty?” Virgil quested.
There was no judgement, never was with Virgil, only deep brown eyes crinkled at the corners with concern. Worry, about him, not so much that he was going to lash out at any minute, but checking in to see if he was okay.
Scott huffed and turned away. He didn't deserve Virgil. -

Summary
Gordon remembers his father clearly, greying hair from dealing with five active children and a permanent smile. He remembers his well pressed suit, that sharp scent of his cologne, the faint smile lines around his eyes that he insisted weren’t there.
Or at least, he pretends he remembers.
AKA
Gordon didn’t need grey suits, sharp cologne and smile lines if he had his overbearing, slightly scary and very loyal brothers.
