Summary
Amid the chaos of World War II, Major Bucky Egan and Captain Penny Biddick find an unexpected connection. As love grows between them, the relentless toll of war threatens to tear them apart. Bound by loyalty and haunted by loss, they must navigate heartbreak, sacrifice, and the fight to hold onto hope when everything seems lost.
- I suck at writing summaries but hopefully you get the gist. Lot of angst but a lotta love. Also it’s a bit weird that these people are real so let’s just ignore that fact and this is basically all about Callum Turner’s character haha -

Summary
Bucky flees into the arms of the army to make something out of his life. Gale joins it to prove to the world that he can succeed regardless of his sub-gender. They meet. Bucky baptizes him Buck. Things become more complicated from then on.
An A/B/O retelling of Masters of the Air.
Extract:
There is a strength in John Egan, in the way he holds himself, in the shine of his eyes, powerful. Gale longs to emulate it, because he too wants to be easy-going, easily-loved, wants to show up and be friends with complete strangers.Bucky says 'trust me' and Gale does. Unconditionally.
There is a steadiness in Gale Cleven which Bucky longs to emulate, the way with which he stands by his principles so faithfully, the way he commands respect because he is one of the best, because he is smart and secure, unshakable. Bucky wants to lean against him, wants to be held up by that steadiness, wants it to shield him from his own tenderness.
Buck says 'follow me' and John does. Unwaveringly.

Summary
A ferry pilot with an attitude, if Stella Finley wasn't so pretty she knows she would be widely disliked at Thorpe Abbotts. For many men she's not quite pretty enough to risk getting too close. For John Egan, her bite is far more exciting than her bark.
If Stella and John had more time together in the simplicity of civilian life, maybe their relationship wouldn't be what it is, overly dependent and complicated and passionate, feral when they can't seem to find common ground. But they didn't. And it is. Maybe it has to be. Where they're going it's cold and dark and dangerous, and both of them know they'd be the first to burn to keep each other warm.

Summary
Major John Egan wasn’t the pen-pal sort but a couple of hours into a dark night full of writing condolence letters, he finds himself wondering why he never tried his hand at the nicer forms of correspondence. Who better to reanimate his numb inspiration than the glamorous Miss Lana Tierney? -the army’s girl next door, the pinup so prolific she was practically a wall paper print and Bucky’s long-standing cinematic crush. It’s not like she’ll read it anyways, tucked up in luxury in Beverly Hills with carts of tedious fanmail burned in her back yard each day, his letter will get lost in the mix. It’s harmless. That thought -and the booze- may loosen his pen a little too much but it’s alright, it’s not like she’ll read it. Right? Right.

Summary
The American War Effort had conceded to the enlistment and commissioning of women into the Air Force at semi-integrated status. Deemed a more reliable if not safer combat post, the going rank of officer in the Air Force was intended to secure fair treatment and combatant status for these women, as it had for their male counterparts. Like most things in war -or life if one is a woman- such recognition must be fought for.

Summary
The men have their side of the war, and the women have theirs. That’s what the posters back in the States said, at least. But things aren’t always so cut and dry - and there’s work to be done regardless. Together as roommates, five women intend to get that work done, no matter what the bomber boys say.
On the Other Side of the Sky is a vignette-style Masters of the Air fanfiction featuring Jackie Broussard, Nora Huchthausen, Audrey Morris, Lorraine Mercer, and Kay Bennett.

Summary
Cordelia Callaway knows planes - she grew up building them and watching them be flown, and there is no one better in the entire Army Air Forces for keeping a level head while one of them comes in for a landing in flames. If the only way she can contribute to the war is making sure all these man land safely, then there's no one else you'd want in your control tower, because she doesn't do things by halves, either.
Unfortunately, that also means holding grudges - and if you're the 100th's executive officer, that means you might be in for a very, very long war.Series

Summary
A wry smile overtakes Bucky’s face, twisting his lips into a half-moon of bared teeth that is as venomous as it is charming before he mutters almost as if he can’t quite believe it himself, like it’s something he hates to admit even to Buck, “someone stole my bike.”
Or; someone steals Bucky's bike and his heart all in one fell swoop.

His gaze moved from the Major — who was either ignoring them or was unaware of their presence — and back to her, frowning deeply.

Summary
"What are you gonna do once you reach your twenty-five, Buck?" Violet asked, because there was no reality in which Gale Cleven did not make it to twenty-five missions. "Back to Wyoming?"
Buck's expression was glum, his eyebrows knitting together as he ran his thumb around the rim of his cola bottle. "Not without my best girl," he winked at her, and then his eyes landed pointedly on Bucky, conveying what he could not say, what the three of them knew implicitly.
Buck never made it to the twenty-five, nor did Bucky. Violet decides that if neither of her boys were to make it home, she had no intentions to either, but the last thing that she expected when she signed up to be a flight nurse was that she'd end up in a stalag for the remainder of the war.
