It’s not that Jiang Yuelou didn’t like sending Jin Dacheng out on cases on his own because he didn’t trust him or think he was a good cop; it was quite the opposite. It’s just that Jin Dacheng was scarily similar to him in that he had the life preservation skills of a suicidal squirrel (the kind that liked to run out in the middle of the road while cars were driving by) and he cared more about the life of his team members than he did about himself. So when Jin Dacheng had come to him saying that he had a lead to a case that he was working on, Jiang Yuelou was a little concerned.
