“Yeah,” Yeri replies, voice saddening as she recalls their final argument.
Jennie turns livid, rapid-fire questions pouring out. “Holy shit, I’ll kill her! What happened to her? She was so sweet before! What the hell is her problem? When was this? Do you need a place to stay?”
Yeri sighs, knowing where this conversation is headed. “Oh,” Yeri responds airily, “this was all last night.”
“Last night? Why didn’t you tell me earlier? You could’ve stayed with me! Where have you even been all day?”
Yeri winces and braces herself for what’s to come. “Oh, you know, I just…kinda…broke into this woman’s house?”
“What?! Yeri, what the fuck?”
Yeri tries to calm her down. “It’s okay! She’s letting me stay here!” she adds, trying to sound convincing.
