Summary
After a massive solar storm turned the world into a desolate, hot, miserable wasteland, Todd Anderson is still looking for his brother he lost 10 years ago. What he finds is unexpected companionship and...rusty trucks that become his new home. Riding to his destination instead of walking for two months sounds great, except that he will have to navigate this group of six's friendship dynamics and where he belongs in the circle. One week. He just has to last one week, and he won't have to deal with this rowdy group of boys ever again.
Is that what he really wants, though?

Summary
"Todd, who had been raising his toast to take a bite, let out a small laugh. Because it was a joke. Because it must be a joke. He didn’t get why or how it was funny, but not laughing at jokes wasn’t nice. So he laughed. Except, Knox didn’t laugh with him. Instead, he just stared at him with something sad in his eyes. Todd’s laughter died. They stared at each other. Todd took another bite from his toast.
“Todd...” Knox said after Todd had continued eating his toast, pity in his voice. “You know you’re a catch right?”
Todd felt thoroughly confused. Like he’d woken up and was actually in a parallel universe. He looked at Neil, just in case there was something off about him too. But he looked normal, invested in his own conversation. He noticed Todd’s look though, and shot him a cute smile that Todd wanted to kiss— wait. Focus. He didn’t know what was going on. He thought about Knox’s question, and well, he didn’t know about being a catch. But he didn’t know how it mattered anyway. And either or, he figured that Neil must think so— being Todd’s boyfriend and all."

Summary
"Inept asshole," Todd doesn’t allow himself to say.
Todd Anderson has planned out another day of freshman year at Crestwood College. His timetable goes like this: attend another of his brother’s hockey games against a visiting school; eat lunch with Jeffrey after Crestwood’s inevitable win; practice figure skating, maybe, and then get to his homework.
Unfortunately, Welton Wolves’ assistant captain, Neil Perry, has other ideas, and his way of ruining plans includes, quite literally, crashing into them.
Or, the cliché hockey player and figure skater tale of the century, starring restless Todd Anderson and beloved, hockey-playing medical student Neil Perry.

Summary
The Welton Preparatory School for Boys has an unusual talent of creating binding friendships among its students that last a lifetime. Of course, like anything, this comes with some drawbacks for any student on the fringes of the social ladder.
Todd Anderson experiences this firsthand when he attends the school and finds that all around him tight knit friend groups are forming, but not one includes him. As an introvert, he’s partly relieved, but there’s a special kind of loneliness that comes along with it.
Or, the AU of how Todd has always attended Welton, but went along unnoticed until a group project assigned by a certain English teacher opens Neil Perry’s eyes and leaves him wondering how he went on so long with them closed

Summary
After the funeral of Neil Perry, it was like time stopped. Todd was stuck in limbo, unable to see, hear, feel, anything except an all-encompassing numbness.
Alternatively, Todd tries to cope with his life (and his family) after Neil's death. For a while, he doesn't do it very well.

Summary
"In some ways, Welton was what he’d expected it to be. Its grand entrance hall, long-stretched grasslands, neatly dressed students, and various other things had been exactly as he’d imagined. Though, his roommate and his friends had not.
It wasn’t that Todd didn’t like them- they were alright, for private school snobs, anyway - but they were so intrusive. He’d always been more of a private person, especially in places where he didn’t know anyone. Shaking hands, introductions, small talk- he’d rather not. He didn’t like talking.
Truth was, he was too ashamed. "
Or, Todd has had a stutter for most of his life and avoids talking to anyone as much as he can, though that can get a bit tricky if your roommate is Neil Perry.

Summary
The play goes as normal, and during the play Todd finally realizes his emotions. After an argument with his father Neil goes back to the school instead of going to his father's. Todd and the other boys are talking about the performance to give Neil a little bit of space. After awhile, Todd goes to check on Neil and to possibly talk to the boy about everything he has been wanting to say since they met, just to feel his world shattering under him.
