Humans are emotional; they do irrational things. Androids do exactly as they are told; they follow their instructions.
Until they don't.
You have been through the most life-changing circumstances within a matter of minutes, all because of a random deviant android. You don't hold that against the majority, as humans have made far worse decisions, with far more detrimental outcomes. You were just a normal girl, with an average job. There were millions like you. You were not special. So who cared what happened to you?
He did. To a fault, he cared.

The murder of 28 humans, including a renowned and retired DPD detective, threatens to ruin whatever semblance of peace that had been established between humans and androids.With the Detroit police force up in arms over the death of one of their own, and the recuperating Jericho faction determined to prove their innocence, relations between the two species hangs tenuously in the balance of an investigation that is sure to shake the foundations of peace.
But Connor wont let that happen. He was designed to find answers, and that's just what he will do.

After the android uprising of 2038 got suppressed, the RK800 prototype first got sold to private owners, but later found his way back to the DPD in a series of events. 1,5 years later the officers have returned to their routines and petty rivalries. Hank muses about all the changes, however, one rather ironic change no one could have foreseen: their own police station getting burglarized. Who would remove a badly damaged PL600 from the archive and to what purpose?

Detective Conan Stern does his job well. Far better than most, and yet, he somehow still ends up with a partner. A disobedient partner, with a foul mouth, temper, and may just be as broken as himself. How this android made it through any form of quality assurance, he would never know.
But at least it might work out in the end, if everyone plays their cards right.

Connor is ready to begin his new life as a deviant, or so he thinks. Alienated by the androids he hunted, distanced by humans who can't trust him, his only friend Hank preoccupied with the aftermath of the revolution.
He can only try to make amends while waiting for his duties at the DPD to resume.Markus finds himself in a precarious position as Jericho's leader, and reaches out to the RK800 for help.
Meanwhile, Cyberlife's newest plot threatens to end the android movement for good.

An Alternate universe where our favorite superheroes are androids; each with their own experiences. I tried to be as realistic as possible and try not to lean too much on the DBH storyline, and I hope this works out. I was very proud of this piece, and I consider it the best (out of my thousands of unpublished pieces). I hope you all think so, too.

Back in the day when things became shit he used to enjoy a drink or two. Or Five. It all depended on how long the shift ran. After 'The Accident' he can't even cough without Nines breathing down his neck anymore.
He just wishes everything would go back to normal, but if there's anything Gavin has learned it's that you can't unring a bell once it's been rung.

Feeling a curious connection to each other, they go on the run together with Hank, and their cat and mouse game with the shadowy corporation brings them face-to-face with the truth about deviancy.
