      This was insanely wholesome omfg 🥹 I was so sucked into this story through the amount of lore/world building, I just couldn’t put this down! Also, every character involved in this fic felt so in-character!!

      Kakyoin’s determination despite his self-admitted cowardice was sooo accurate imo (and also his loyalty to doing the right thing, no matter what it costs). And Jotaro’s respect for letting wildlife do as it pleases, as well as being pissed off by other people doing (unasked) favors for him is just *chef’s kiss.* This story ended on a wonderful note, and I’m not selfish enough to ask for a second part, but man would I love to see some more aftermath interactions between them (and possibly even Joseph and the DIU gang meeting Kakyoin? 👀).

      Yeah overall the storytelling and world building were just so damn good, and the mental image of Jotaro and Kitsune Kakyoin spending the rest of their days peacefully eating meals on the engawa will live in my mind for a while :) bless these boys and the bond they’ve made, I’m such a slut for humans earning the trust of gods/spirits and then said entity pledges their life to protect the human ❤️❤️❤️❤️ I’m hella weak for that level of devotion, like seriously it makes my heart melt
