Summary
The winter wind, which had howled around his train and yanked menacingly at Kakeru’s scarf as he made his way through town, disappears abruptly when he steps over the threshold of the old building. Kakeru shivers, despite the warm air.
Or, Kakeru is sent to exorcise a ghost from an abandoned dorm building scheduled for demolition. What he finds instead is a spirit in need of his help.

Summary
It wasn’t lonely at the top. That’s something Kakeru knew since the first time he won the Tokyo middle school track meet. The top was never a lonely place. It was just that the people who made it there were usually the loneliest.
