Summary
itadori yuuji, student body president with a bright future, is starting his third and final year of high school. he’s smart, considerate, and loved and adored by the entire school. he knows almost everybody here and does his best to meet their expectations while fulfilling his own goals and aspirations.
but for the two years he’s been here, itadori always finds himself searching for a certain someone, someone that the entire school is afraid of and nobody knows anything about: fushiguro megumi, a well-feared delinquent with terrible grades and an even worse attitude.
anybody with half a brain knows to stay away from him, but itadori can’t help but be intrigued by fushiguro’s cold and mysterious nature. he wants to know more, he wants to get closer, he’s curiously hypnotized and entranced by it all. but it’s his last year of high school, there’s no way he’ll be able to find anything out about him now; or will he? and should he?

Summary
Even at the age of five Yuji Itadori knew something was wrong - he woke up with horrible nightmares and terrible burning sensations all over his body, and there was always a "mean voice" in his head that won't go away. His grandfather decided it was time to take him to an old friend that could possibly help him with this new issue.
Kento Nanami was extremely disinterested with the Jujutsu world after his best friend was killed during a mission the year prior. When a new mission came up for rescuing a little boy who happens to be the vessel of "The King of Curses", Ryomen Sukuna, Nanami was forced to go on the mission.

Satoru takes another step forwards, arms spreading wide in excitement, “Yūji-kun! You’re here!”
“Oh my God,” the child repeats breathlessly, sounding far older than any child his age should sound, unable to tear his eyes away from Satoru. The boy shakes faintly, shock maybe, words a shaky exhale, “it’s really- you’re- you look- this is— oh my God!”
Annnnd there’s really no doubting it now.
Clearly those vivid dreams of war, imprisonment and eleven years of growing up is not the dream Satoru had thought it to be since waking up in the infirmary as a seventeen-year-old student, way back before the source of all his problems defected from Jujutsu society.

Itadori Jin has not wished for fatherhood. He had married with the shared understanding that neither of them had wanted children, their reasoning fairly different but reasoning they both felt was right. But even he must admit, that wasn’t entirely true. Yes, at one point Kaori had no desire to have a child, or have to deal with pregnancy in any manner. Now though...
His father had disapproved of their union, and for once since he and the older man had begun to butt heads (he can’t recall a time they haven’t) he understood. Kaori had been…pushy, to put it lightly. And he, the cowardly man he was, gave in. Perhaps he would understand once their baby arrived. He would have to, there was only so much time left. Besides, Kaori insisted she would take care of everything. He just needed to stand by her and smile. It would all work itself out. It had to.

I was chatting with my friend about the similarities of Hereditary (2018) and Yuuji’s family situation, was told I was seeing things (they were lowkey right), voila! This became a thing.

Summary
Jujutsu Tech doesn't exist, neither in Kyoto nor in Tokyo. And the Clans and Higher-ups that gnawed through the souls of everyone he knew like maggots eating through something alive- they have faded into obscurity. Jujutsu isn't a thing here, not proper or structured or experienced like it was then. It exists, he can sense the energy around him, radiating like a faint aura from people everywhere, but it is nothing like what he knew. And he wonders, after he learns of this, if the similarities ended there. The Itadori family, and this fledgling Cursed Energy.
But he does not give up hope. He rakes through the country in his free time, like a meticulous hunting dog, chasing any trail he catches a whiff of. The families have faded into obscurity. Kenjaku is perhaps not around. His machinations aren't around either then, and although Yuuji is glad for the former, the latter sends needles through a part of him he had taken so long to acknowledge. Too late, too late, and he wonders if he'll even get a chance this time.

“Yuji! Stop, don't go off so far!” His older brother Choso called out. Yuji looked back for just a moment before he grinned smugly and he sped up, before disappearing into a nearby grotto he yelled out,
“Come and find me!!!”
Choso's face grew more worried by the second as he chased the boy.
“Why not listen to me just this once?!" Choso yelled, his voice echoing off of every rock. He was sure Yuji heard him…He just didn’t listen. Choso quickly sped up his pace, realizing he had unconsciously slowed down as he grew more tired from chasing the quick boy.
