He dodges the next kick, rolling away and getting to his feet, fists clenched. His vision is still strange, red and blue after images flickering in the corners of his eyes and outlining the asshole who had decided to ruin his day, the asshole who’s still laughing as they take a step toward Ashton. Their movements appear slow, adrenaline no doubt playing with Ashton’s perception of time— except the asshole in question has stopped laughing and is looking down at themself, confused.
