The Atlantis Expedition has been stranded in the Pegasus galaxy for two years, unable to make contact with Earth. John Sheppard's life has been changed forever after being bitten by the mutated wraith queen Elia. His body malformed, with no ability to communicate he lives in exile on his beloved city, keeping his distance from the rest of the population.
