“Ai, don’t be like that. This curse was one afternoon and the trip was three days long. We were supposed to go back, but Utahime extended our stay.”
“Yeah… so she could go see a baseball match.”
Momo shrugged.
“But we could do whatever we wanted all this time. Wasn’t it fun?”
Mai smiled slightly at the memory.

Summary
After the Yasohachi Bridge Incident but before the Shibuya Incident, Gojo decides to send Nobara, Maki, and Mai on an easy mission to the countryside to work on their "team bonding" skills after their fight in the Tokyo Kyoto team battle. However, when Choso arrives at the exact same time searching for another one of his brothers, the so-called easy mission turns into a hard one as a special grade curse begins hunting Nobara for revenge. Mai caught between Nobara's absolute refusal to back down, and her sister's desire to prove herself as a Jujutsu Sorcerer, just wishes that things would be easy and normal for once.

Summary
Zenin Mai was supposed to die a nameless death at seventeen. Instead, she lives to carry the consequences of her sister's survival.
