It's been over a year since the world everyone knew had abruptly ended... The virus had spread so quickly, so silently, that even many of the friends they had worked alongside for so long... We're just gone. Perhaps they were alive out there, somewhere, but for the three intact groups, the others weren't considered missing or dead, simply gone. Luxiem, Noctyx, and Krisis, those were the groups still intact, lead by Oliver Evans, someone they all held in unwavering trust and respect. Despite this, they had taken in many survivors, and had scattered into four camps: Camp Akuma, Camp Ovid, Camp Bandage, and Camp Evans. Unbeknownst to these Camps, being so scattered would soon bring unimaginable heartache to all of them.

"Ike!" I exclaimed dramatically, my voice dripping with feigned distress, as he confidently placed a red 5 on the pile. Ike's brows furrowed in genuine confusion, his avatar mirroring his puzzlement. "What's the matter?" he inquired, his voice laced with genuine concern.
The game's unpredictable hand dealt me a series of cards that bore no resemblance to the coveted red suit. Frustration mounted with each passing card, and I couldn't contain my exasperation any longer. "Ike, darling," I announced with theatrical flair, "I seem to have been cursed with an unending supply of cards that are anything but red!" My tone was marked by a mix of playful exasperation and flirtatious drama.
In the face of my mounting predicament, I found myself rendered temporarily speechless. The cascade of cards that fell into my hand was overwhelming, and I struggled to find my voice amidst the whirlwind of colors and numbers. With each passing moment, the mounting pile of non-red cards only intensified my astonishment.
"Ike! I want a divorce!"

Luxiem high school AU! This is something I've been working on for the past while, time to share it! I don't have much of a plan for this other than post it- I couldn't tell ya whether this is gonna be chaptered (not really chaptered, more like separated into parts, just for convenience) or not... I just hope ya enjoy it! (Constructive criticism/advice/general thoughts are always welcome, please leave those in the comments, if you have any! :D) This is also an Ike x OC fic, if you're not that much of a fan of stuff like this, I'm sorry...
Just an extra thing i wanted to bring up now, I've got some other fics in the works, I can't give a certain time of which these'll be posted- so for now, think about it as something to look forward too. :D
