It wasn't his fault his heart hurt whenever he looked at his friends, at places important to them, at the Key around his neck. It wasn't his fault he felt so alone when half of his soul was far away in another World. It wasn't anyone's fault but a god dead for almost four years now. He wasn't running away. But when Kaito gave him a chance to leave for a while and heal, Yuma jumped at it like the lifeline it was.
It came with a string attached, but Yuma didn't care. He could handle meeting a new roommate, maybe even a new friend! Or two.
At least this bot wasn't going to call him dumb. Instead, they scolded him for calling himself that.But when Link Vrains, and a certain monster, catch his eye, is Den City really the break Yuma thought it would be?

But as it usually goes, nothing is ever truly over, and the slow resurrection of the Ignis in their turn shows that the threat of the world's end still isn't out of the realm of possibility, even if simulations can't accurately predict the future.
Those who came together will need to once again in order to create a solution to the larger problem, and in this collaboration, in the heat of fate's fire, new friendships and bonds are forged. These bonds will change the course of the future, change minds, and change hearts.
