When Valentine decided to take his children and leave, he'd done so because he knew that Jocelyn was far beyond saving. What he hadn't intended was falling in love with his ex-parabatai turned werewolf but raising two kids together, maybe they both needed something to rely on.

Summary
“They’re doing pretty well for Mundies. They’re going with ‘gas leak’.”
Alec arched an eyebrow, “Jocelyn Fairchild was attacked by feral werewolves and her whole apartment was burned with demonic fire in a poor attempt to cover the claw marks. How is that anything like a gas leak?”
“Well, they’ve noticed that there was a fire... more or less.” Jace shrugged. “I said they were doing well for mundanes.”

A sort of AU spin on the first book (ish?) in which Clary knows a lot more than she wants to, and Mangus needs to know more than he does. Everyone is a bit older, though not necessarily wiser because, of course they're not. Some whump, and a generous helping of dorks in love.
I did draw from both the books and occasionally the TV show. Endgame canon parings. Language is (occasionally) spicy. No beta. Not sorry.

Summary
Magnus doesn’t have time for this bullshit. Warlocks are disappearing in New York City—five people in less than three months—and Magnus is determined to find them and protect the rest of his people from whatever took them. He doesn’t have time for politics, and he certainly doesn’t have time for whatever nonsense the Clave is proposing about marrying a Shadowhunter to a Downworlder as part of the new Accords. He doesn’t really have time for a pretty Shadowhunter who’s surprisingly kind to warlock children, either, but, well, he’s always been good at multitasking.
Alec always knew he couldn’t have what he wanted, but he’s spent the nearly four years since the newly-appointed Consul recalled his parents to Idris without explanation making the best of what he can have. When life suddenly offers up almost everything Alec actually wants on a silver platter, he can’t quite bring himself to trust it, especially when it comes with a million caveats and a side of impending disaster. But he knows how to handle disasters, even if the return of the Circle on top of Clave secrets that could destroy the Accords is way beyond the disasters he’s used to fielding. Hope, on the other hand? He doesn’t know what to do with that.

Summary
They’re giddy as they push open Alec’s door, fumbling inside and shutting it firmly behind them, locking it in more ways than one just to make absolutely sure no one will interrupt them. The thought of someone finding them is horrifying, it’s incomprehensible but they don’t think of that now. They both try not too, at least.
Knowing there is no place else where they can be themselves, Alec and Underhill find safety in each other.

Summary
Jaime Whitelaw used to have no clue who Alexander Lightwood was. But now he's more than aware, thank you very much. Everyone knows who Alec Lightwood is.
(Or: Alec is a super relevant gay icon and inspiration to basically the entire shadowhunter world and refuses to give in to the clave's blatant homophobia)
