A battle royal to the death with the prize being “The Holy Grail”, a chalice that could grant the winner any wish they desired. Throughout history four Holy Grail Wars had been waged with no winners in any of the four wars. This story begins shortly after the Fourth Holy Grail War in the Japanese city of Fuyuki where things aren’t as they seem. The ending that seemed so conclusive is just the beginning of another for knowledge is power. for better or for worse.
Kiritsugu has settled down for a life with his new son; however will a chance encounter between a former Heroic Servant and a former master put a hole in Kiritsugu's new life? Follow the story of the Fifth Holy Grail War and the events leading to its alternative state. A cast of Heroic Spirits that are familiar to Fuyuki along with some new spirits that have joined the war. This will be a longer story with many twists and turns that will leave you on the edge of your seat. I hope you enjoy this Crimson War.
