There was a sad look in Peter’s eyes as the sun cast a warm glow over his face. His hair was messy and unkempt, and Tony longed to ruffle the locks, if only to remember how it had felt to do just that. Peter raised his hands, and Tony assumed it was for Peter to rub his own hands nervously as he sank deeper into thoughts.
Instead, Peter grabbed Tony by the shoulders. The sun blinded him, but this time it was obscured by the trunk of the tree behind them; Peter’s face was visible, his eyes bright with an amber glow.
‘The dream’s ending, Tony,’ Peter said, smiling.

When Tony woke up, he found no Peter in his arms.
On Earth-19999, Tony Stark found guilt in living and having unavenged those he had lost. He held the universe in his palm and died for all but a single snap of his fingers.

For that fleeting, horrifying second, Tony thinks it's happened again. That his kid died in his arms, again. That not even his vice-grip and his desperate, hammering heart are enough to keep them alive.
He blinks, and she's back together. Whole. Alive.
This fear is constant. He's scared out of his goddamn mind that she's going to disappear into thin air, just like Peter did. That he might have to put her back together the way he never possibly could.
or, Tony was a father before he became a father. His relationship with Morgan is fundamentally affected by the loss of his first kid, and what that looks like.

But also trying to trust the friends he does have, protect a kid he considers a son, fall in love with an old friend and to put the past in the past but it's hard when the Rogue Avengers are breathing down his neck from afar and brings back painful memories.
Not the best summary but I tried.
