Han Joowon, the chaebol son of the Han Group’s disgraced chairman Han Kihwan, has spent years traveling the country, shutting down what remains of the Han Group’s holdings and offices, determined to eradicate the stain of his father’s corruption for good. Now, just a few weeks before Christmas, there’s only one tiny, far-flung subsidiary left to close: Manyang Terrain, a minor landscaping company with a tree farm attached.
It should be a simple task—but not if the people of Manyang, and the infuriating (and handsome) gardener Lee Dongsik have anything to say about it.

The man who stepped inside looked like he had walked straight off a magazine cover and got lost in a kindergarten - impossibly handsome, with perfectly styled hair and a sharp designer suit. Tall and striking, he scanned the room with cool, dark eyes, as though taking in every detail before finally meeting Dongsik’s gaze with an intense, unblinking look.
Dongsik felt a flutter of nerves, which was surprising for him, but he quickly brushed it off, leaning down to Mijin with a playful grin. “Mijin-ah, I thought you said your samcheon was coming, not a movie star.”

Juwoon covered the older man's lips again, and Dongsik wrapped his arms around the younger man's neck, holding onto him that way.

Juwon’s eyes land on the embroidery on the coat’s right breast: the characters of his name.
Immediately, his mind floods with images: the multi-million-dollar navy blue supercar that his seven-year racing contract had afforded him; a black flag with a red circle billowing in his peripheral as he shot down a straightaway; fingers prying at his cracked helmet, his jumpsuit bloodied from chin to shin.
“Keep it.” Juwon tells Dongsik. “You can wear it to my closed-casket funeral.”
Dongsik laughs, and Juwon clenches his jaw.
