Summary
That’s how he enters the office, the paper straw clasped between his teeth, lying soggy across his tongue. His fingers slip against the condensation as warm air gushes towards him. He almost doesn’t register when he’s at his desk, looking over the latest instagram posts from his friends with a faint smile. He cocks his hip against the hard wood. He looks up with the straw still in his mouth, and makes eye contact with Nandor from the distance of his office. The straw falls out of his mouth with a despondent sag to its structure where it lies against the rim of his takeout coffee. He flicks his gaze away immediately. The bolt of heat that strikes his gut makes sweat break out along his hairline.
Guillermo has to reckon with his choices. He finds a new dynamic that opens up the possibilities for him. Nandor lives rent-free in his brain.

Summary
After the theater, Guillermo strikes out on his own. The Mosquito Collectors of the Tri-State Area are determined not to let him stay alone for long.
The vampires of Staten Island have a similar goal, if only they could agree on the method.
A tale of good music, bad movies, romance, baking, and the complicated task of saying goodbye. Oh, and murder. A little bit of that, too.
