However despite how much she sold it to the public, Panthera Noire was not like that, not really. Because while she was Panthera Noire to the city, for all the world knew, Juleka Couffaine was just a shy and self conscious girl, struggling to keep her secret and her family safe.
Drowning in her crush for her best friend and the responsibilities of carrying the world on her back, she only wants to survive long enough to see the romantic fairy tale happy ending she’s gotten a hope for.

Juleka blends into the background on purpose. Nobody besides a few of her classmates notices her, and she likes it that way. But when she finds a ring on her desk at home, she can’t stay there.
Nathaniel prefers staying away from people. He’s perfectly fine with staying home and doing art commissions, Rarely interacting with the people who aren’t his closest friends. But when a pair of earrings are on his desk , he has to go out of his comfort zone.
Or, instead of Master Fu leaving to find two random kids on the street, he sends the Kwami to find new holders, Which results in A change of heroes. Coccinelle and Salem are tasked with protecting Paris from Hawkmoth and his ability to turn people into his minions, while navigating their busy personal lives
This fic has Ladybug!Nathaniel and Black Cat!Juleka as the main focus, but several other Kwami swaps will happen for the other heroes.
