“I like you,” he says and Scaramouche just breathes. “You're really pretty.”
“You don't really know me that well, do you?” he muses and smiles a little. “A mysterious foreign exchange student. Who’s to say I'm not dangerous? Maybe I've manipulated you.”
He smiles the entire time as he says it though, not wanting Sethos to think it might be true. It could be, but it isn't. Sethos smiles back.
“Then I wouldn't care. I’d let myself get manipulated.”
“Oh yeah?”
“Yeah,” he breathes and he's looking down at Scaramouche’s lips.
“That's not very smart,” he whispers and watches, almost in slow motion, as Sethos reaches out a hand and brushes his fingers against Scaramouche’s cheekbone. His fingers are warm in the chilly night.
“I know,” he breathes. “I'm a little bit dumb.”

Your family and friends are against your and Scaramouche’s relationship, especially since you keep getting more hurt with each visit. But you don’t give up so easily. Longing and hate become clashing worlds as you are forced to spend time with him, and you learn that Scaramouche doesn’t hate you as much as he claims.
Both of you wish things could be different, and both of you feel the weight of your dark history… It’s only a question of who would be brave enough to correct it.

The Traveler and Paimon met up with a friend of theirs in Sumeru one day. Walking the streets with the blonde and their companion was a certain man, one that Wanderer knew all too well. Dull blue eyes scratched of their light, fluffy tousled auburn hair laid across their pale face, and a stupid carefree smile that curled like a cat's mouth, it was him.
"Nahida, let's go."
"Hmm? What's wrong, Hat guy?"
"You- ugh, let's just leave, okay? Let's go somewhere else."
"But the Traveler and Paimon are over there, it's only polite to say hi. Mmm, are you trying to avoid them?"
"No, it's... Tch, never mind."

Or, Wanderer sees Childe again and the harbinger won't leave him alone. Wanderer was annoyed at first, but once he started catching feelings, things weren't so fun anymore. Not when the puppet was just another stranger for Childe to meet on his Fatui duties and forget about once his service is called for elsewhere. It's not quite a 4th betrayal, but certainly a weight on the poor boy's heart.
