Suguru froze.
That was a name he never thought he’d hear again.
Suddenly he’s no longer in Shoko’s living room, but his childhood home. He’s ten years old, and he’s laying on the floor of his room side by side with another boy and they’re laughing, likely about something ridiculous and nonsensical like they always did. The boy looks over at him with the brightest blue eyes he’s ever seen; eyes that endlessly fascinated him. His white hair makes them appear all the brighter. Suguru doesn’t know why yet, but something in his chest seizes when he looks into them for too long, and he has to look away, as much as he doesn’t want to.Getou Suguru needs a place to live before he starts grad school. The last person he expects to have the solution is his childhood best friend...who also happened to be his gay awakening. But he's over that. Really, he is.

"No thanks, I'm really fine!" the woman replied, bowing her head in thanks and hurrying on, watching out of the corner of her eye as the car eerily came to a stop, the lights blinding her slightly but still able to make out the black silhouette inside the car.
She had to admit that she had felt a terrible terror burning through her bones, but the faster she walked the faster she would get home.
By then it was already quiet, the streets were empty and the only thing that accompanied them were the lights on the poles.

What on earth is he wearing? The pristine white robes are far too outdated for this era, and the intricate gold detailings don’t remind Suguru of any culture he knows. And he’s studied loads as a former history student. He doesn’t recognise the traditional clothing this stranger wears, but he does notice the blood staining his soft robes. Suguru winces, even though he’s not the one in pain.
