~ It was during that dance to The Lady in Red that she felt seen. Understood. She felt like she had known Rupert for much longer than what she had. Almost like she had always known him and had waited for him. Somewhere deep in her soul, she knew that she had always loved him and always will. It felt like all of time had stopped moving and nothing else had ever been and all she ever knew was right there in his eyes.

The fanfic is in Horatio's POV.
Horatio grew up as a not so wealthy kid, coming from a low class family and barely anything to his name. He would've never thought that the future had far greater things in mind for him than to be a simple peasent working under a nobleman. How did he get into this mess...This fanfic exists simply because i had to read Hamlet for school but I couldn't get over the tension Horatio and hamlet shared. So, this is a reimagination of Hamlet, if I wrote Hamlet instead. There will be 100% more lore that did not exist in the original book (and ps, I'm sorry if some character might be a bit OOC lol).
