Summary
Gem is a Mer hybrid, and she loves her life in the Empire. One day Gem finds an enchanted book and decides to try the human's magic. Little did she know this would flip her whole world upside down and she would be force to flee the ocean lands. Along the way she finds a place to settle and makes friends even considers people her family. People she never thought would become her family. Although, through this she is thrown some curve balls. Would she help old friends or will she try and forget her past and move on with her life with the people she is now surrounded by.
Or Gem is a Mer Hybrid and a lot of stuff happens which make her decide to do something no other Mer has done before.

[Mind Games AU]
[Rated T for some minor depictions of violence, blood, and death. This is the Life Series afterall.]
A retelling of Secret Life but Hermitcraft Gem world jumps and ends up in the game instead. After finding out the dark truth about these death loop matches and how dire this situation is for these alternate versions of her friends, she gains the help of the champions from previous seasons as they try to find a way out of these games.
At the same time, the Watchers' influence over both the players and the game has been restrained this season due to an unknown source fighting against them. Grian uses this opportunity, while also fighting against his own Watcher Instincts, to push back the Watchers' trickery before they claim another champion.
(This AU is heavily inspired by Martyn's Eyes & Ears AU with a few of my own twists and other ideas I gained from the fandom added to it.)

Summary
Ryan, model HC819, is an android detective sent by cyberlife to investigate the rise of Deviants. Along the way he partners up with Lieutenant, Grian Charles, who seems more than displeased to be on the case again, specifically with him.
Pearl, model HC613, is recently purchased android whos purpose is to clean her owner's house and take care of his daughter. Little does she know that she's already been here before.
Martyn, model HC407, is in possession of Ren Dog, an old, retired king who's soon to hang up his crown. Martyn knows his actions will bring the world to both destruction or peace, he just has to commit to them.
(Or Hermitcraft and Lifeseries characters as Detroit become human characters :D)

There wasn’t time to, like, run down to a skin designer and get a proper Gem-sized skin tailor-made. Gem flaps out the one HumanCleo brought her, holding it up and trying to get a good view despite the low lantern light. The zombie skin doesn’t look as creepy up close as she’d worried over, so that’s something...
Gem gets dressed in a skin that's not her own for a death game she doesn't even know how to play.
