Dr. Akita is a piece of shit. Not only did he emotionally abuse Gyro and betray him... he also s*xually abused the chicken. Several years of repression and Gyro thought it was all worked through. Then Boyd showed up. So many things he'd gotten rid of... and now they were all back. It doesn't help that he's trying to navigate a new relationship, adventuring with the McDucks, inventing/work, and letting Boyd back in... everything was just slowly collapsing.
