Summary
Now that Astarion was watching him fumble his way through meeting several other guests at Jen's behest, all while constantly throwing him the saddest little glances, Astarion decided that he had dodged a bullet.
Yes.
Gale would have been a terrible date to this silly little event.
It's the night of the Rivington Public Library's annual fundraiser dinner, and though Astarion has come to enjoy his new, quiet life as a librarian, tonight has proven rather challenging... and it's all Gale's fault.

Summary
It's Astarion's fifth winter in Waterdeep since marrying and moving in with Gale Dekarios. It's also the fifth year Gale has spent celebrating the day Old Carvas supposedly brought the first caravan to the city dressed up as him and distributing toys and gifts to Waterdhavian children. Astarion loves the quaint little ritual, loves that Gale enjoys bringing cheer to all who attend the festival, and wants to give something back to his love, to show how appreciated he is.
So it is the first year Astarion spends baking a loaf of banana bread for his husband to have when he gets home. It.....doesn't quite go according to plan, but at the end of the day, it's the thought behind a gift that really matters, isn't it?

Summary
Astarion watched her from the shadows, his keen gaze catching the way her soft body moved as she worked, the little roll of her stomach when she leaned forward. She was so alive—warm, kind, and heartbreakingly unaware of her effect on others. Gale was seated nearby, seemingly focused on a book, but Astarion wasn’t fooled. The wizard’s eyes flicked to Tav often, lingering when she laughed softly at her own thoughts or tucked a stray lock of hair behind her ear as she worked.
It was intolerable, really. The way Gale looked at her—his Tav—as if she were some celestial object of study. And yet, Astarion couldn’t summon the venom he wanted to. After all, Gale wasn’t wrong. Tav was remarkable, and she wasn't his.. not yet.

Summary
Communal bathing has become somewhat of a group bonding activity for the party. Getting lean after a land day of sweating and bleeding is always better with company, after all. Amnesia comes with the perks of having no shame and its slowly rubbing off on Durge's companions. He asks Gale weird questions, and Gale asks weird questions back.
Durge asks Gale what being trans is. Gale asks to see his dick (on accident, somehow). Karlach laughs at him.

Once upon a time, he would have scrambled into the corners of a darkened room like a worm into the dark, moist dirt. Now he had the luxury of rolling over in a plush bed and into his partner’s waiting arms.

Summary
"Gale meets his sleepy gaze, staring intently at him as they sit there, surrounded by silence and the occasional drip of water. Time stretches into eons, each heartbeat a lifetime, eternity found in each other’s eyes. The hush of the room feels reverent, holy; it’s the type of silence normally found in temples, experienced by the monastic orders after years of devotion and contemplation, during those brief moments when the touch of the divine graces the mortal world. This breath of infinity belonged only to the two of them, the world ceasing to exist as they’re surrounded by warmth and comfort and companionship. "
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------I sincerely don't think Cazador would give the spawn fresh water since they don't need it to survive, and he thrives off misery. So after the defeat of the Netherbrain, Astarion moves to Waterdeep with Gale, and being the gracious host he is, Gale offers the use of his huge-ass bathing chamber. Trauma and emotions spill out as he realizes he's safe and free.

Summary
Slow burn story loosely based on BG3 story events, picking up at the end of act 1, following Gale romance. Lots of angst, build up, friends to lovers, Gale being Gale (dare I say…hue). Will they make it?
Excerpt -
You remembered the first time you truly saw him—not just as another companion, but as someone who mattered to you. It had been after a grueling battle, your bodies bruised and spirits weary. The group had scattered to lick their wounds in private, but Gale had stayed, tending to a gash on your arm with gentle hands and a concerned frown."Hold still," he had murmured, his breath warm against your skin as he wrapped a bandage around the wound. His fingers lingered just a moment too long, his eyes meeting yours with an intensity that made your heart skip a beat.
That was the moment you realized it—how your heart had slowly, almost imperceptibly, started to shift toward him. It wasn’t just about attraction; it was the way he made you feel safe, understood, even in the midst of danger. The way he looked at you, like you were the most important person in the world, despite the many burdens he carried himself.
