Satoru takes another step forwards, arms spreading wide in excitement, “Yūji-kun! You’re here!”
“Oh my God,” the child repeats breathlessly, sounding far older than any child his age should sound, unable to tear his eyes away from Satoru. The boy shakes faintly, shock maybe, words a shaky exhale, “it’s really- you’re- you look- this is— oh my God!”
Annnnd there’s really no doubting it now.
Clearly those vivid dreams of war, imprisonment and eleven years of growing up is not the dream Satoru had thought it to be since waking up in the infirmary as a seventeen-year-old student, way back before the source of all his problems defected from Jujutsu society.

Megumi was washing the dishes when it hit him.
It wasn’t even his birthday, nor even his twenty-ninth year. He was thirty-one, with the lines around his eyes to show for it, and an apartment of his own that he’d bought with his well-earned salary. A normal life if ever there had been one, a dream he’d never believed he could achieve.
It was snowing outside the window, a curtain of stars so dense it hid the street. Megumi was rinsing the dishes when it came back to him, out of the blue: Shinjuku in December, on Christmas Day; a battlefield awash in white and smeared with blood; a familiar face made paler by the crimson rivulets drawn on it.
Gojo had been twenty-nine that day.

JJK manga in a light novel format. Starts off very similar to the manga but does diverge at some point to give more depth to certain characters and doesn't want to make us jump off a bridge after reading ;)
DISCLAIMER: I think the way Gege writes his story is excellent, this is just a fun exploration of the universe and not commentary on his creative decisions. Most of the plot at the beginning will be a copy from the manga into a light novel format. Will be more relationships added as the fanfic continues ;)

And with a plop, Sukuna startles, the weight on his shoulder sinking deeper until it settles into his embrace. He looks down and notices a boy, probably in his middle-teens, head precariously placed between Sukuna's right shoulder and chest, eyes tightly shut, pink lips parted and softly snoring.
Or alternatively, Sukuna is the heir of a fucking large conglomerate and Yuuji is a teen figuring out his life. The meet and stuff happens.
