As Byakuya prepares to put a plan in motion to intentionally kill everyone left in this foolish game, himself included, he finds himself face-to-face with a slim, golden opportunity to finally heal- and he takes it, albeit in the single most frustrating and traumatizing way to everyone around him: by hiding away the body of Chihiro Fujisaki and helping him regain his health, his senses, and his memories.
(A Togami-centric fic, revolves around manipulative hurt/comfort, slowburn, and, generally, Togami being an emotionally constipated moron with more familial trauma than a praying mantis.)

Kiyotaka is forced to "assume" a role for which he is not prepared, while his father, Takaaki Ishimaru, is forced to remain in the rear palace. Now he is under the tutelage of an ambitious political cabinet that uses him as a puppet to maintain their dominion and soon, the destruction of the Great Homura Empire.
