The strange, frenetic energy that kept the commander in his cabin on their trip up river, confined but moving constantly, the thud of his boots only broken by the crashing sounds of his tantrum. He’d torn the entire cabin apart, in the time it took them to reach Flotsam.
Foolish of him, to so casually dismiss her words, as though Vernon Roche would fall apart so simply.
In the wake of Foltest’s death, his hound is loose and on the hunt.
