“Hm…” The smile on Bachira’s face drops as a pondering expression forms.
Oh, crap, does this mean I won’t get a chance to play with him? Rin worries, glancing back over.
He hums considerately as he holds his chin between his index finger and thumb, eyes closed in a serious manner. Then, he snaps his fingers and grins yet again. “Pretty words from a pretty boy! I’ll take it!” He notices Rin’s hesitant expression and laughs, winking and shooting finger-guns at him. “Did I scare ya?”
Clicking his tongue, Rin whips his head away. “You didn’t, but whatever.” Why’s the next round taking so long? “Hurry up and start the next stage already!” he snaps at thin air, talking to the AI.

When Itoshi Rin first met Bachira Meguru, he thought to himself, Oh, this person is definitely going to be a pain in my ass. But now…
Well, to be fair, he still does think he’s a pain in his ass, but Meguru’s his pain in his ass. Figuratively, of course. Because if the phrase is meant literally, then Rin will be the one being a pain in Meguru’s ass—
