It was the same morning for him. He'd wake up alone in his big apartment made for more than him. He'd make breakfast, way more than just for one. Then, he'd go to work at the Adventurer's Guild just down the street from his home and proceeded to TRY to complete his mission without it blowing up in his face.
However, after the day ends with him barely managing to complete a quest, this spark of unluck today would prove to be the last as Bennett's life is turned right-side up when a newcomer joins the Adventurer's Guild.

Mika isn't really one for chaos.
He has a nice, steady job as the Front Line Surveyor of the Knights of Favonius where he could do his favorite hobby, cartography.
He goes on expeditions for the Knights sometimes, occasionally running into some enemies here and there but always with a troop.
He doesn't battle gods every week or chat with Harbingers. He doesn't travel to the most dangerous areas in Teyvat or solve murder mysteries.
And Mika is fine with that.
But when he's assigned to "babysitting" the three troublemakers of Mondstat- Bennett, Fischl, and Razor -well, that's not something that Mika is used to in his daily routine.
Even worse is that there's a dangerous open domain that keeps spilling angry monsters into Teyvat, and neither Mika nor the adventure team is allowed to help.
Maybe, just maybe, this group of four can solve Mondstat's current monster problem by working together as a new team.
And maybe, Mika could gain some new friends out of it too.

Razor makes a discouraged noise, disappointed and confused just as much as she. Bennet frowns. “What’s going o-”
He suddenly freezes, backing up slightly with eyes blown wide. He raises a hand in front of both of them protectively. A tall, familiar figure stands before them with her beloved Oz clutched in one gloved hand. The figure scowls at them, pinching the bridge of his nose. “No, no. This won’t do.”

Or, Diluc discovers the runaway Fischl, Bennet and Razor and unintentionally finds himself the adopted not-dad of the trio. Now, he must balance his business, three not-children, and painful crush on the local Knights of Favonius librarian all at once! Shenanigans ensue.
