Mu Qing pulled a tube of lipstick out of her dance bag and leaned in, towards the mirror. Feng Xin pretended to be very focused on her eyeshadow application as, out of the corner of her eye, she watched Mu Qing swipe the bright red paint across her lips, clean and even.
Mu Qing stood up with a little huff, and wandered over to one of the corners of the dressing room, moving into a deep lunge to begin her warmup. She glanced up, catching Feng Xin’s stare. “Why are you looking at me like that?”
“I’m not looking at you like anything,” Feng Xin said, turning away. Her hands shook slightly as she did her eyeliner.

After the death of his mother and an intense work load on both Mu Qing and Feng Xin's shoulders, Mu Qing hasn't been feeling like himself. He's been very depressed and overwhelmed with work, yet he refuses to be a burden on anyone and tries to deal with it on his own. Eventually Feng Xin finds out the extent to which Mu Qing has been suffering in silence and is quick to support his boyfriend. While things improve, Feng Xin can still see how sad his boyfriend is, so to help him feel better, he takes Mu Qing to a newly opened cat cafe.

OR: Newly wed Feng Xin is stranded at the Yong'An airport when a blizzard blows through Xianle on Christmas Eve. Mu Qing stubbornly refuses to be apart for their first Christmas as a married couple and makes the two hour drive to his husband. They talk over bluetooth during the long drive, reminiscing about their relationship and past Christmases until they're finally reunited. It's all very cute and fluffy.

"That's obviously because I noticed the cursed shackle on your hand when you struck me down and I wanted you to get the fuck out of Mount Tonglu before the place could start to get messy. I knew it would be too much for you to handle and I was right wasn't I?" He explained so calmly as if he was talking to someone about the weather.
"Well you obviously wanted his highness to kill me didn't you- wait..." Feng Xin's words took some time to register in Mu Qing's brain. "What did you say? Do you think I'm stupid enough to believe your bullshit?"

It's been 5 years since the war between the human kingdom of Xianle and the vampire kingdom of Yong'an started and the vampires are slowly claiming more and more territory. Together, the two of them try to finally put a stop to the long war between vampires and humans as well as deal with the unspoken feelings between them. Yet Mu Qing isn't the same as he was before he disappeared, so how will this affect things between him and Feng Xin and any potential future between them, especially with a long and bloody war shadowed over both of them?

„Dude…you’re staring “, Feng Xin hears, the voice catching him off guard and almost making him drop his cup of coffee, spilling part of it onto his hand.
With furrowed brows he looks over to the door and is met with Pei Ming grinning at him.
He was not staring, mind you! ....okay maybe he was but how could he not stare when the most beautiful men he's ever seen was standing in front of him. It's not Feng Xin's fault that he's just that pretty.
in which Feng Xin is simping for the owner of the tattoo studio across the street that he totally doesn't like to look at whenever he sees him taking a smoking break.
Feng Xin may or may not be acting like a lovesick puppy (as Pei Ming likes to call him) and he may or may not have tried visiting the tattoo studio in order to get to know the pretty men just to end up getting more piercings because he got intimidated by the thought of having to talk to him and felt too awkward to just leave.
They make it work somehow (after Feng Xin accidentaly throws up on Mu Qing's shoes). Needless to say, Feng Xin didn't give him the best first impression.
