He knew then, that he wouldn't leave, or at least he wouldn't leave alone. It was rational, an irrational part of him argued, help would be comfortable. Of course he didn't need it, but how much nicer it was to be curled against a solid chest with a heart beating at a calming speed, than slumped onto the ground left to fend for oneself alone.
Or, what if Viktor stayed with Jayce? what if we were to look at canon and then say "nah"?
