When Enver was younger, when his parents were not around to scold him for wasting time, Enver would read stories. Tales of magic and mechanics and swordplay between two equally matched enemies. He loved the scenes when two capabilities were evenly matched and the enemy failed the contest due to some fatal flaw of theirs. Be it a lack of understanding, a loss of focus, or suddenly being outnumbered.
Enver Flymm is a child. Raphael is the cambion son of Mephistopheles.

Enver Gortash faces the ultimate karmic payback: cross-reality relocation and forced cohabitation with his fellow chosen in a small English town where nobody knows his name. Faced with the horrifying prospect of being outdone by Orin and her growing army of Youtube follwers, he needs an in-road to power and fast.
Meanwhile Tav and company are also trying to navigate this strange and unfamiliar world, where buying goods with corpse loot seems to be frowned upon and bards need a permit for busking in the town centre.
