Summary
On an unpredictable, rainy summer’s night, a group of camp counsellors are faced with a growing, sinister threat that slowly starts to kill them off one by one. Although it doesn’t seem like anything that can be explained by logic and science; because an infection’s spreading among them all, leaving the hosts tainted with a supernatural presence. It’s making them rabid and void of any sense of humanity, if their own bodies don’t kill them in the process.
What will happen to them before they all meet their untimely demise? And who is the teenage hunter with a shotgun, talking about ending a curse?
Werewolves are only the beginning when death is a mercy at Hackett’s Quarry.

Travis decided that taking off his uniform down to his undershirt and boxers was as far as he was going in getting ready for bed. He was still a little apprehensive about returning to his bedroom after what had happened, even if it was just a hallucination. So sleeping on the couch clutching a half-drunk cup of whiskey it was.
He awoke in the morning with the sensation of a hand on his shoulder that he didn't immediately discern as concerning in a half-awake stupor. However, as his mind became more aware, he jolted off of the couch and onto the floor in a panic and looked around wildly, finding nothing. As the heat of the hand on his shoulder faded, so too did the immediate panic.

Travis is haunted by the loss of his family and the repressed grief of his high school "best friend". Is it just grief bringing back ghosts? or something more nefarious. The counselors aren't making it easy for Travis to move on as he has to again mediate the Werewolf Curse- this time for all nine counselors. -

Also, all while Emma and Soap are having the time of their lives together as new best friends.

In the FBI New York Field Office—miles away from Hackett’s Quarry—there exists a room tucked away from the bustle of the rest of the station. On a desk dimly lit by a cheap desk lamp, a stack of documents lay haphazardly next to a half finished, room temperature cup of coffee. And based on the assortment of ceramic mugs, plastic cups, and foam containers... this looks to be far from their first cup.
Someone has photocopied every document collected on scene, printing them out and pinning them to the wall. The documents are connected to one another with various colored strands of string. In the center of the collection, someone has left a note in frenzied, frantic writing:
