Sensing someone hadn’t been sleeping was uncomfortable at first. It could be like an itch he couldn’t scratch or a shiver that ran down his spine, but the longer it went on, the more painful it would become.
He didn’t know this until recently because he never let it get that bad. It started a few days ago; He felt the shiver the first day and questioned everyone in the house. All of them said they were 'sleeping just fine, Wil!' And 'stop being a mother hen.' Wilbur, naturally, didn't believe them.

So far he's gone from the chorus to the first verse, to the last, to the chorus again, to the outro and then the chorus over and over again. He hasn't played the whole song in the correct order since he last practiced with the rest of the band.
He's perched on the end of his bed, half paying attention to Tommy, who is sprawled out over the floor.
