Summary
Narrowly, the UNSC Spirit of Fire stopped what could have brought the Human-Covenant War to a crushing end for humanity and the galaxy as a whole. The survivors however are forced to sacrifice their FTL capabilities and are then left to drift their way back to friendly territory on nothing more than hopes and dreams. But some nightmares persist. Waking in the middle of it, the members of Red Team, the onboard professor, the captain, and a dwindling shipborne AI are alone in the fight to save the crew from some famished hitchhikers.
