Summary
After your apartment burns down, you’re left with only a suitcase and a string of dingy motels. The thought of moving back home nags at you, but you can’t bring yourself to abandon the life you’ve built—the job, the friends, the independence.
Luckily, your friend Beth Smith, who you bonded with during weekly art class, offers you a lifeline: a room in her family’s home until you can get back on your feet. Grateful beyond words, you move in, determined to be the perfect guest. But life at the Smiths’ isn’t as peaceful as you’d hoped, mainly because of her father—Rick Sanchez.
Rick is a brilliant but obnoxious, unpredictable presence, whose insults and biting remarks make every interaction with him a test of your patience. You hate him almost immediately, and avoiding his chaos becomes part of your daily routine.
Yet, over time, something unexpected happens. Beneath the barbs and tension, a dangerous attraction grows between you and Rick. What starts as resentment turns into something far more complicated—romantic, even sensual. Now, as you find yourself falling for him, you’re left wondering: Does Rick feel the same, or are you just another distraction in his chaotic, reckless life?

Summary
“Rick, have you ever heard of the Ship of Theseus?” Dr. Wong looked at him, her fixed gaze placid as ever.
“Uh, yeah,” he belched. “Smartest man in the universe. I know about Theseus and his dumb paradox.”

Summary
the title is a reference to the community episode "curriculum unavailable" where the group has to go to therapy
---
“Did you call her?” She asked, quiet but not whispering.
Rick looked down at his feet, embarrassed. “Yes.”
He flinched a little when Summer pulled him into a tight hug, but let her, even though it only made the crawling sensation he felt under his skin grow.
“Thank you, grandpa Rick.” She breathed, pulling away, eyes a little wet. “And fuck you, I’m not your goddamn therapist, and neither is Morty. So stop acting like it.”

Summary
Dr. Wong had instructed Rick to write a letter to Diane, a physical letter. She told him that it was a healthy way to process grief. It had been twenty-something years since she died, and Dr. Wong had thought he wasn’t over it?
rick writes a letter to diane. inspired by “some rotten man” by the taxpayers, there’s like 2 or 3 lines from it in here, you don’t have to listen to it to get the fic though

Summary
While Rick undoubtedly loves him, this was all a response to his own experience with Rick's abandonment. Two crows lead back to Rick and Morty and Morty was so desperate to avoid it that he thrust himself at Rick. After all, if being useful for adventures isn't enough to keep him around, maybe sweetening the pot would get him somewhere. Become everything. Take up as much space as he can so that Rick is too distracted to head for the door.
(Intended for Rickorty Fluff Week 2024 and uses the prompts but it isn't fluffy enough to really fit the theme RIP.)
There was supposed to be more but I don't think I can finish it.

This is basically where I'll be putting things I write about Evil Morty. He's my little scrunkly and I love him, he's a little fucked up actually. This thing is going to be full of headcanons and I will not take criticism. The tags will change over time, please be patient and please enjoy. I will remember to update this when I can. <3

Summary
"How long do we stay?" was all Morty asked, and seemingly the scientist found it a fair question too.
"I don't know. A while...months...years...maybe decades." Rick's voice was tantalizing, directly trying to make him back off from wanting to do this.
Silence formed between them.
Even Rick stopped packing, visibly enjoying Morty's expected soon-to-burst confusion and whining.
However, the brunette seemingly thought it through quickly, because in a moment he turned his back leaving the garage.
"Give me ten minutes, Rick." -

"try to swallow this. wash it down with whatever, whatever, whatever,
you got what you wanted. try to swallow that. drink whatever. wash it down."my extended cut of Rick's Mazzy Star Dissociation Time in Unmortricken. it's vibes over plot, and the vibes are a drunken clash of self hatred and self pity.
