As if the thought is a summons - finally - the door to the library creaks open, and when Emet-Selch turns he sees Raha step inside, leaving the door open behind him. There’s a smile on his face, something soft and fond that leaves warmth blooming quietly in Emet-Selch’s chest, somewhat counteracting the jittering frustration, and he crosses the flagstone floor to catch Emet-Selch’s hand and press a kiss to his cheek. “...I have not seen you since lunch,” he murmurs, lips brushing against skin. “Would you have dinner with me, my dear?”

“Let me be your surrogate hands, as it were.” He took one of G’raha’s hands and brought it up to trail kisses along one pale forearm, lingering over the sensitive pulse point at his wrist and coaxing a tail curl from him in return. “Tell me what to do, how and where you’d touch him if it were you in my place, and I will do my utmost to fulfill your instructions.”

“Surely there must be something we can do to make this less of an ordeal for you until then.” G’raha’s tail flicked as he tapped a finger thoughtfully against his lips, watching B’alith fuss with the cuffs of his underlayer so the silver embroidery showed under the voluminous sleeves the way it was supposed to. “Oh, I know! It's not often that Ryn's in a mood to be punished.
