Summary
Keyleth owns Zephrah Coffee & Bakery with her best friend, Pike. Still in the small town she grew up in with her doting, hippy parents. She loves her job and her routine. The small town clientele is easy to keep track of, so when a new, beautiful face arrives one morning, something in her seems to wake up for the first time.
Vex’ahlia finally finds the courage to escape the overbearing shadow of her father. She moves to a small town with her brother and starts working at a university as an English professor. It doesn’t take long to realize she is now in the life she has desired for so long. Plus the cute, red headed barista at a local coffee shop doesn’t hurt either.
I’m terrible at summarizing this, honestly, but if you need a sweet, comforting fic about these two adorable women falling for each other with plenty of caffeine and books, you might like this story.

Plus Vax is a sucker for a bleeding heart and wherever Vax goes Vex goes, Orion's just looking for a fight, Grog isn't gonna let his friends run into fire without him, Pike knows they'll get killed without her, Keyleth just wants to hang out with Vex cause she's smittened and Scanlan is dragged kicking and screaming semi reluctantly.
Warning this is gonna get really fucked up in places the chapters where Percy has nightmares will be marked at the top so you can skip those. If you really don't think this is for you do not read it if you do it is at your own risk.
