Safe?! Izuku thought wildly, his ears flattening again as he stared up at the two heroes—the two pro heroes—who were now watching him with a mix of curiosity and concern. How am I supposed to be calm when I’m literally in the house of two pro heroes?!

Izuku has a quirk that allows him to turn into a cat, but as of now...He's kind of stuck like this, like a cat, for/months/. It's fine though, it means that now he can't be chased by Eraser-Head! After months of running away from that man, he would never suspect he was a cat! He thought he cheated the system, except being a cat—a kitten—is harder than being a human. And so he got pretty roughed up when a rock was thrown at him and many other things piled up the same way snow or trash piles up on the street.

After Izuku learns he is quirkless, Hisashi stops lending money to his now divorced Wife and Son, forcing Inko to go back to work. Her solution is to have her boy be in the care of babysitters Yuu Takeyama and her friend Rumi Usagiyama. Izuku and his babysitters become very close, like siblings, then lovers. Inko remarries after her divorce from her husband and falls in love with the Pro-Hero Midnight and later Mitsuki Bakugou, who also became divorced from her husband. With Izuku trying to get into U.A. to become a Pro-Hero, he also has to deal with living with his three mothers and overprotective girlfriends.

Izuku stares at Kacchan during class.
Izuku stares at Kacchan durring lunch.
Izuku stares at Kacchan during recess.

Finally, when Izuku can’t stop staring even as he is packing away his things at the end of the day, Kacchan spins around to face him, glare as hot as the pops and crackles being muffled into the back of Kacchan’s own chair.
“What the heck do you think you’re staring at me for, Deku?!”
Izuku squeaks and leans away, more confused than scared. Confused, because there is no recognition in Kacchan’s eyes.
It hits Izuku then, and he feels even more sick than if Kacchan decided the solution was to blow up his face.
Because Kacchan doesn’t know yet.
Alternatively: Mitsuki and Inko get married before their sons are in middle school, and everything changes. (Slowly and painfully, but for the better nonetheless.)

Although, the man was eerily similar to that person just older. Which makes sense, it was over ten years ago. Shouta was a common enough first name. He could vividly remember the card that the pro hero gave him. Could it be Easerhead? Was his last name Aizawa?
Or where Katsuki and Aizawa meet way before Katsuki is enrolled at UA, and it takes a pretty hard trip back home for Katsuki to reach out for help to the only person that actually gave a damn about him back then.

It was her turn for her to be shocked. Her lips opened for a moment to say something, eyebrows knitted together in struggle and thought. But as nothing came out and when the silence they held lasted too long, her lips pressed together and she took a breath.
“Nothing you need to worry about right now.” He was about to interject, but, “Really. It’s between me and your father. I know you’re worried, but you don’t need to be. We’re handling it.” She reached out to grab her son’s hands, squeezing gently. “I promise.” Together, they held eye contact as those words settled in the air, In Bakugo’s heart, where he felt it squeeze when he saw his mom almost cry in front of him. His chest settled after a second and he felt his lips finally press together for a moment, grounding himself.
“You promise?”
“I promise, Katsuki.”
For most of Bakugo's childhood his parents have been fighting and he thinks it's all his fault.
