Just as he was about to open the bottle and pull some of the narcotics up into the needle, he heard a knock on his door. Spencer stiffened from fear, then he heard another knock. It wasn’t loud or demanding, but Spencer wasn’t expecting anyone over, so it startled him. He sighed, tiredly lifting himself off his leather couch before putting his tools on the coffee table.
The last person he was expecting was Derek Morgan, standing there, darting his eyes anxiously, looking worried and hesitant. “Hey kid, is it alright if I come in?” Derek questioned.
