She laughs along at all the right moments, dances her steps perfectly, fulfilling her role as she must, but she focuses on none of it. Her focus is only on Victoria beside her, and her deep laugh; the floral scent of her french perfume; the light tapping of her foot on the garish red carpet underfoot.
It’s not painful, but it certainly keeps Morgana on edge throughout the recording. These feelings for Victoria aren’t totally all-consuming, but it’s really hard to concentrate on Guz’s neon, multi-coloured tennis balls when Victoria is next to her.
