In Ancient Times, everyone knew how to court an Endless. Those creatures, born at the beginning of time, with powers greater than any god’s; they could only be courted in very specific ways. Through demonstrations of commitment, loyalty and devotion, through the passing of near-impossible tests. Suffice it to say, it rarely happened. But what happens when, after time has passed, and some things have turned into myth, while others have been fully forgotten, a Suitor rises (one who doesn’t even know he’s one?!)?
Or, like I called it in the Sadman Discord, "the one with the surprise wedding in the rain"

Summary
When you’re 10 (for a human) or the equivalent (for not-human), you’re given (during your sleep) a pet, representation of your soulmate. Thing is, both soulmates need to be born for them to appear. Dream of the Endless thought he didn’t have a soulmate, until a puppy appear near to him while meditating. On Earth, at the same moment, it is the year 1356 and Robert ‘Hob’ Gadling is just born. When he’s 10, he got the poshest, biggest black kitten with a very mean streak. Of course, neither Dream nor Hob see themselves in the other’s pet.

Will the months Mr. Gadling is to spend at the Amaranth country mansion as a result of a wager between the Lord Amaranth and his elder sister allow the unlikely pair to develop a friendship—or, perhaps, even a forbidden attachment?
A series of rousing events involving balls, duels, play readings and meddling suitors lie between the Amaranth household and their return to town come winter—events which may forever change the viscount’s opinion on the merits of life in the country and, more importantly, on the balance between duty and the pursuit of happiness.

Summary
Hob Gadling is cursed, has been since birth. He sees demons and monsters and lives a life alone on the road. But when he fucks up a deal with the Devil King Lucifer herself, he ends up paying the price for it and somehow everything gets much worse.
Now he's forced to live a life of immortality and all supernatural creatures are attracted to his blood. Hundreds of years later, everything comes to a head when the reason he fucked up comes back to haunt him looking just as attractive as he did the first day they met.
