In 1889, after Dream"s little hissy, Hob goes back to drink at the White Horse where the Corinthian seduces Hob into a forget-about-him fuck. It is consensual until it isn’t. Something similar happens in 1916. 1989 when his stranger doesn’t show, Hob starts looking. He finds the Ruby, works with Johanna, fights the Corinthian, becomes friends with Matthew, frees dream, and they all go to hell. Delirium keeps on having to save the sillies who made up the rules and forgot that. Isis and Death hang out and watch their favourite human.
Dream’s right hand has been severed by Burgess, and, no, it doesn’t just grow back, not even in the Dreaming, not even when he is a cat, or an eldritch thing. The dreaming gets better, he gets his tools back, many things resolve. Dream struggles. Hob loves him sweet and kind. And Hob has nasty PTSD. Hob has episodes that could be characterized as dissociative, there is also some derealization going on.
Lots of Magic. Lots of violence. Lots of smut (later). Sweet and true love. Matthew is rainbow coloured. Maybe there is a zombi Jessamy. Set in Neverwhere’s London. Slow burn. Dream isn’t in the fic until ch.2.

Their voice is languid, and flows as silk does, almost giving Hob goosebumps. He wants to ask how they know his name, because very few have ever spoken this peculiar name. In fact, since approximately 1489, the only one to call him Hob was his Stranger.

Seven royal siblings, each with their own special magic, and all with a deep love of their family expressed in their own varying manner.

Morpheus - or Dream, as he"s nicknamed himself - could have been gone the moment he turned 18, like his older siblings Dee and Destiny. But that would mean abandoning his younger siblings Dessie, Desire, and Del to a deeply broken household, and he"s spent far too long protecting them at his own expense to run.
Their father is abusive; their mother is one of his victims and locks herself in her bedroom. No one finds out, and Dream intends to keep it that way, because no one is coming to help any of them... until Time goes too far, Dream collapses in the middle of a uni class, and a chain of events is set in motion he cannot stop.
