While my goalie boyfriend Heaver is off in St Louis, playing for the Canadiens as they take on the Blues, we both find ourselves missing each other painfully.
Quitting my job to be with him, I arrive at the Enterprise Center in time to witness the goalie help the team win the Stanley Cup and shake off his frustrations.
After everyone else leaves the rink, however, and it turns into the first of July, my French-Canadian lover as a special way to celebrate his victory and Canada Day too!
