It took Kristy Thomas seventeen years to figure out that she didn’t like men. At first, she thought that maybe she was asexual, with no romantic feelings for anyone, but then she remembered the thoughts and feelings whenever she would see her.
Stacey had been quite the opposite, because she knew that she didn’t like men the whole time, but the objectifying terrifying ideals her parents held for her, she couldn’t tell anyone. Instead, she projected a narrative that she hated people like that, when she didn’t.
