Maybe it was just boredom that stirred it in his subconscious. It wasn't like he'd been looking forward to coming over to help Boyfriend clean, even though he'd been promised snacks. He'd mostly tagged along because it was their mutual boyfriend, Pico, who'd offered in the first place, and it wasn't like he had anything else to be doing.
It started when he noticed a dusty collection of vinyls that had been excavated from BF's closet. Darnell hadn't collected vinyls in a while, mostly out of fear of wasting money on something that could get so easily damaged by his habits.
As soon as that thought hit him, the inevitable followed; you could burn these.
