    What isn’t a repetition, what definitely isn’t consistent, is a small hand waving in front of his face. Taken aback, his face scrunches, and he stops walking. He stands there for another second just staring. There’s a little girl, probably thirteen or so, with her messy hair pulled back into a ponytail and wearing a ratty sweatshirt that’s much too big for her. First, he thinks that she must be cold. Then, he realizes that she’s talking to him.

    “–was wondering where you’ve been. Are you even listening to me? Are you high? Fuck,” she just keeps talking, rambling and jumping to conclusion after conclusion. He raises an eyebrow at her – he ain’t particularly interested in buying any girl scout cookies or the like. Joel opens his mouth to speak, but she cuts him off quickly with a hissed whisper. “Just pretend like you fucking know me, asshole.”

    “Excuse me?” Joel shoots back.

Between getting bit, losing her entire world, and being detained by the fucking Fireflies, Ellie barely had time to process anything before Marlene was desperately trying to find groups willing to take her to the Capitol building. It was a shit idea, if you asked Ellie, but nobody seemed to be fucking asking her.

    Promises of weapons and vehicles hung limp in the air until someone eventually bit. Ellie didn’t have the opportunity to protest before Marlene handed her over and retreated to gather the rest of the Firefly troops and supplies.

    All she knows of this man that holds onto her wrist is that he’s smuggled goods into and out of the QZ, and his name is David. It doesn’t take her long to decide that she doesn’t like him. His smile is too gentle for their broken world.

Especially not when the giant helps her repair the very robot he'd beheaded.

    So begins a very odd dynamic between God, Human, and Robot... With some attempts at humor along the way. ( This story will have deep moments but it's not exactly taking itself TOO seriously.)

An android with emotions seems like an oddly acceptable idea, but she has some reservations, even more so when the first David 8 wakes up and she has the pleasure to try and help him make sense of the world around him; to make sure that an android which can understand and show emotions is safe for the general populace. This all seems too simple, and life is good until talk of funding the Prometheus project crosses her path, and then things go from bad to worse, along with the rest of the crew as the search for their own creators comes into consideration with dire consequences.

    With the crash landing of the Juggernaut and the destruction of the Prometheus; Elizabeth Shaw, Alma Meadows and David find themselves in a predicament. Returning home doesn't seem to be an option, finding the Engineer's home world is. By his own admission, David states he could get them there, but he'd rather they fixed him along the way, being a decapitated head isn't the lifestyle for him. With LV-223 far behind, things only get more strained as both humans run out of supplies, succumbing to hypersleep, both expect to be woken when they arrive on the Engineer's planet, thus leaving David alone on the Juggernaut. Only, being left alone doesn't mean he will just spend his time minding his business like he did when on the Prometheus, no, David has ideas, has plans, and getting rid of the Engineers is just step one.
    After many, many years, when a crew appear suddenly, he cannot help but find curiosity in them, even more so when an synthetic, a brother in arms, is with them. Who and why are the crew of the Covenant here? And who are the other mysterious colonists which keep getting mentioned? Not all is what it appears to be within Paradise, and honestly, David doesn't find himself caring all that much.
