"All right then," Wymack started, folding his hands together over the papers scattered across the desk as they all took their seats. "Neil here already knows the deal. Betsy fill you in on the job description, kid?"
All eyes focused on Andrew as he nodded. "Watch some sheep."
A huff of unamused laughter came from Wymack's equally unamused face. "You’ll be protectin' the sheep from those damn coyotes. Lost a quarter of my flock last summer. Sleep by ‘em at night, then stick with the camp tender at camp during the day whenever you ain't herding. If you can’t handle it, you’re free to go.”
With a shrug, Andrew stood. “When do we start?”
A satisfied grin lit up Wymack’s face. “Strap on your boots, cowboys. We ride up Brokeback Mountain today."

Summary
Neil Josten lifted his hat and wiped the sweat from his brow. The Texas sun was relentless against his skin, thoroughly drenching his body in sweat. As usual, the ducks were chattering in the pond, and the ranch was calm. However, Neil couldn’t shake the feeling that something different was going to happen today. Something that may lead to his farm being just a bit crazier.
Andrew Minyard hates cowboys. He might just hate this one a little less. Finally, Kevin’s good for something.
